This Selman trombone has a 2 Year warranty. This warranty specifically includes the internal valve assembly, the body of the trombone, the welds of the trombone and the slide of the trombone. The warranty is specifically against failure of the mentioned parts of the horn only in the previous sentence. If the previous mentioned parts in this warranty clause should fail in the period of two years from the exact date of sale, then Selman will replace the part that has failed free of charge with a exact or like part or repair the part at Selmans discretion, free of charge, less the shipping charges to repair the instrument at Selmans authorized repair center. The buyer always pays all shipping costs on any type of warranty claim. A warranty claim must be accompanied by a legitimate, dated proof of purchase from the selling distributor to be valid as well as the failed part and the instrument returned to the Selman authorized repair center. The warranty applies specifically only to the original purchaser. Damage or failure of the previous mentioned parts caused by abuse or neglect, is specifically not covered under this warranty. Previous repairs by other repair shops will void the warranty automatically. Positioning of the valves in the incorrect position of holes will void the warranty.
