This Olds Studio trombone is in good condition cosmetically, and in great playing condition. This is one of my favorite models of Olds trombones because it is so easy to play while getting a full, rich sound throughout it’s range. It also looks classy with the subtle style touch of sculped braces on the bell. It can play with a warm tone or with an edge when needed. Here is a good used bell from a late model Bach 42B Stradivarius trombone. It is 8 1/2 inch regular weight yellow brass. This one had some heavy dents that were repaired and there is still some slight evidence of the dent repairs. There are also a number of scratches. It’s hard to get them to show in the photos, so the photos look a little better than it actually is. There is no lacquer so it will gradually tarnish unless kept polished.
