Gently used Edwards T350-E tenor trombone. Includes a 384CF bell, rose brass dual radius tuning slide and nickel bass crook slide. This horn has spent most of it’s life in a gig bag on a shelf and has hardly been used. All blemishes are shown in the pictures but none of them effect the sound of the horn. The tuning slide and bell are extremely well matched and it has a very vibrant tone that is focused and warm. I have decided to sell it because I simply have not used it enough to warrant keeping it. Up for auction is a beautiful vintage Bach Stradivarius 42G Tenor Rotor Trombone in Bb/F. it is the finest instrument a great symphony trombonist can wish for. Slide bore is .547″ (large) and made of Nickel-Silver. Bell is 8 1/2 inch and made of Gold-Brass. Numbers on the Trombone and slide are different since the Trombone was ordered with Medium-Large slide bore and then the slide was swapped to a large Bore, Nickel-Silver Silde. The Trombone was played about 10 years. Lacquer has fallen here and there. Does not Look like new but mechanically in SUPER condition. Slide simply flies! Fantastic compression, noiseless rotor. Ready for recording with any orechestra, any kind of music! Case is not original and not in great shape but offers good protection. This is probably not the important aspect of this deal. The auction is for a Trombone that will outplay everything! The 42G is a very rare and expensive model and it is hard to find, these days. New would cost above 3000USD. Beautiful condition, the outer bell is buffed and is laquer-free rose colored brass with the nickel-silver wreath. Bell measures 7 1/2″. Nickel plated outer slide. Beautiful inner slide plating. Image #10 shows the only spot at the tip where there is some wear. There are no dents on the horn. There are about 3 very minor dings. The horn has been well cared for. The slide works very smooth, fast and quiet. Tuning slide and water valve work properly. The sound is sweet, dark and mellow, and can project very well. It slots well and has a very responsive feel throughout. A very straight and beautiful Trombone.
