For sale: Holton Galaxy small shank trombone mouthpiece The silver is pretty worn, but the playing surface is clean of any major nicks or dents. The shank is a bit out of round, but a good tech might be able to smooth it out. It will seat fine in a small shank reciever. Holton TR140 Trombone This auction is for one used Holton TR140 trombone. The TR140 features Holton’s “monster valve”, 9″ rose bell, and a .547″ bore. This horn is in great shape. The slide moves flawlessly and the horn plays beautifully. There are some spots around the horn that are discolored. I don’t know what it’s caused by. Please see pictures. Rare vintage Holton TR158. 8 1/2″ Rose Brass Screw Bell. Large [.547"] bore. Plays beautifully. Serial #554569. Manufactured in 1979 according to Lars Kirmser’s list. Overhauled and relacquered. Inner playing slides have been replaced. Played about a dozen times the since overhaul. No wear on playing slide. Like new [screw bell models are no longer in production but you might be able to get custom modifications from Edwards or Shires]. No dents. No scratches.
