Here's a AWESOME Elkhart Conn 10H professional trombone. The 10H is one of my favorite .500 bore instruments. Modeled after the 6H, it is basically a 6H with a solid copper bell. The copper bell really darkens the sound, so what you get is a horn with a dark, bluesy sound, but still has the response and high register that the 6H is famous for. This one is in very good condition. Lacquer looks good and is probably about 80% present. Slide has just been serviced, and this horn plays well, but it is an older slide. Up for Auction is an King Liberty 2B Trombone. There is an inscription on bell -King Liberty 2B -The H N White Co. Made by H N White Co-Cleveland Ohio. There is a picture of a crown above inscription. This trombone is from the 1930's- 1940's. Numbers on it are 273427.Trombone is brass but not darker tint and nickel silver. Brass may be darker because of tarnish and need to be cleaned. I would say the condition is great for it's age but I am no expert in trombones. The end of bell has no dings. There is something green on edge of bell about 1" long. There are a couple of tiny indents on other side of inscription. There are a couple dents in tuning slide (please see pics) The two pieces that make up slide have no dents or dings. Slide is free-moving. Trombone comes with case-case had a musty smell so I had it cleaned. Case has a lock on it but I do not have a key. You will also get the long metal piece that goes into Trombone to clean. You will get a King M21 Mouthpiece. Finally, you will get a long piece of metal that goes on trombone along with metal piece to put sheet music on. Please email me with any questions. Used YSL-354 in great condition. This was used by my son for band for a short period. Everything works perfectly. There are some small dents as I’ve tried to capture in the 4th photo. Overall, the finish is bright, however, there is some tarnishing on the elbows. The slide works smoothly. This trombone comes with an almost new Yamaha case which is in excellent condition. Also includes a Hamilton music stand in excellent condition. THIS IS A VERY NICE VINTAGE TROMBONE MADE BY F.E. OLDS AND SON, FULLERTON, CALIF. IT HAS A SERIAL NUMBER OF #78. I LOOKED AT A LISTING OF THEIR SERIAL NUMBERS AND THEY STARTED WITH A #73 IN 1952. THIS IS AN AMBASSEDORE MARKED ON THE HORN ITS SELF. NEEDS TO BE POLISHED UP, THIS IS JUST AS I RECEIVED IT. CASE IS WORN PRETTY GOOD. SOUNDS GOOD AND PLAYS WELL.
