Hello, Up for auction is a King 2125 (AKA 3B+) Tenor Trombone. The bell is 8 inches, the bore is .525, the lacquer is 85% complete, there are a multitude of lacquer scratches on the bell stem( possibly from gig bag use B4 I acquired it) there are no mute dings but 2 small dings on the bell stem. The slide action is 7 out of 10. The s/n is 8556xx dating from the late 70's -early 80's ,if I remember correctly. This Trombone has also been optimized with the Cryogenic Enhancement process Winning bidder to pay all shipping charges.A used PROTEC CASE in fine condition is now included in this re-listing.This item is not cosmetically perfect, it is 30+ years old, it has not been overhauled. It is in fine playing condition. 1968 CONN 88H Trombone According to the serial number series L80xxx, this trombone was made in Elkhart in 1968. It shows normal signs of age, such as small dents and worn lacquer. The slide is in excellent condition according to a state-champion trombone player who recently evaluated it. The rose brass bell is 8.5". It has a Vincent Bach mouthpiece. The black CONN case is structurally sound and in excellent shape on the inside. The outside of the case has normal signs of wear for its age - tears, scuffs and the marks of being used in the University of Texas Longhorn Band (and you think the airlines handle luggage roughly!).
